Sony Bhatt has over eighteen years of experience in corporate and commercial practice, with particular depth in corporate transactions, commercial contracts, governance, employment advisory, and dispute resolution.
Her experience spans leading law firms in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru, as well as in-house roles with Google (YT Global Procurement Contracts Team) and Linde (APAC Legal Team). She has advised multinational corporations, startups, investors, and businesses across sectors including technology, healthcare, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, aviation, automotive, oil & gas, real estate, and power.
Her transactional work includes M&A, investments, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and complex commercial arrangements, alongside regulatory, employment, and workplace advisory. She also advises on commercial and shareholder disputes, litigation strategy, and mediation. Sony is an accredited mediator, enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, and a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
